The reason he didn't get picked first is because of his size. 5'10". 176lbs. He's not the prototypical center. Neither was Saku and he turned out pretty good. Granlund will surprise a lot when he comes to the nhl. He is very capable of holding his own

@Ismoc123 Sentteri se on todellaki... huhuttiin myös sitä et se olis saanu ens kaudeks kakkos sentterin paikan jos olis tullu pelaa nhl:ään... eiköhän se oo kemiasta enemmän kysymys missä kukin pelaa ja kyllähän mikke saattaa hyvinki päätyä laidalle pelaamaan... viisas valmentaja osaa kyllä päättää missä kukin pelaa,joukkueenahan tässä pelataan :)

@mikko175 Kyllä kyllä, mutta miksi hänet pitäisi hukata laidalle kun sentterinäkin voi pelata? Kaveri on pelannut laidalla tähän asti, koska parempia senttereitä on ollut tarjolla ja puolustusvelvoitteet eivät olisi hoituneet sentterin vaatimalla tasolla vielä kovemmissa peleissä. Saattaa toki pelata ensimmäisen kauden laiturina änärissä, mutta kyllä mies on sentteri.
