@looseroots yeah man, i think taking the ranger off the market is a bad aswell as taking away the fx4 package. lovin my 02 fx4

I'm very happy with this loaded FX4 Ranger. It's my second one and no issues. Being an auto mechanic, I like reliability and the Ranger is well built and affordable. Not a fan of Fords 5 speed automatic so I chose the five speed manual trans.

how is that truck treating you? i had a 98 f150 with a lift and 35" tires,im a student so i need something a bit better on gas this time,im stuck between an fx4 or a 2000ish 4runner, im also from vic! cheers.

It rarely snows in Victoria so we couldn't resist trying out the new 4x4 on fresh snow over a packed icy base. First two minutes truck makes passes in 4whldr low range third gear. At 2:00 I tried 2whldr with no action. Final two minutes in 4whldr high range 2nd gear. That's Steve Drane Harleys new shop in the background. No sign of motorcycles today!
