Vampire Quest was developed with Ogre3D, OpenAL, Hikari, RakNet in C++.
This video showcases an game object editor that maps 3D assets to game files. Orientation, scale and position offsets can be applied at this stage. The challenging part was to integrated unmanaged C++ codes with managed ones used in .NET Windows forms. XML was chosen as the file format as it can be parsed using a 3rd party DOM library and easily manipulated when tools are not developed on time.
