hey..if im trying to go natural is it ok for me to get a colored rinse?

I will look into that further, as I wanted to get a jet black rinse for the summer. It should be fine though.The last time I had a rinse I used "jazzing" and it's when my hair was relaxed. I didn't see any negative affects then and that's the line i'd try now. Remember to do a patch test.

How long does it take you to wash and blow dry your hair, please? My daughter and I are both natural and as a Cosmetologist, I have to predict the timeframe for each. Usually takes me about 4 hours for the both of us on an early, and I do mean early, Saturday morning? LOL Thanks for all that you provide; it really helps and I'm also a teacher who has referred your site to many of my African American students who need reaffirmation of their Natural Black Beauty! :)

It takes approx 4-5 hours to wash, condition and blow dry. I like to take my time.

@LHDC2011 Your hair is gorgeous! I'm sooo jealous (in a good way lol!) Go Gurl! :) Just wondering: maybe I missed something, I understand the parting into four sections prior to washing. However, I am confused as to the actual washing process. Do you leave the hair braided when shampooing? (I saw the "wash hair with braids" video & the one where you showed how to section the hair, too.) Or, do you just part it then wash each section separately (a loose)? Thanks in advance for your response! :)

Do u always blow dry? You have a lot of hair, it may take too long to air dry. It's beautiful LHDC
