Mount & Blade Warband - How to ninja a castle.

Adnotations will give you some basic steps, here's an in-depth desription.

I did this with Knudarr Castle, because as you will see in the video, it's kinda.. unique. ;) No idea if you can do that with any other one. The garrison is very weak because that was the 4th or 5th time in a row I did this (with very minor casualities on my side). The other assaults ended with me knocked uncosius (very low starting hp) or with my archers running out of arrows/bolts. This method works perfectly on bigger garrisons since Rhodok Sharpshooters/Vaegir Marksmen can clear out Nord archers from the hill easily. Also, as you can see, the difficulty setting is pretty high.

What you'll need :
1. A strong shield.
2. Something to hurt people at a distance : bow, crossbow, javelins - anything that can actually damage the defenders (stones might not work ;p).
3. Some infantry with shields, the stronger the better. You might wanna use Nords for their throwing axes, that will give you a few more dead defenders. ;)
4. Good archers. Rhodok Sharpshooters preferably. Vaegir Marksmen have a great rate of fire, but it's useless for this occasion since the defenders will be just standing on the wall.

The steps of the Ninja:
1. Tell your infantry/cavalry to 'hold this position'. Might wanna put cavalry behind the infantry if they don't have shields (I think only Khergit cavalry always spawns with shields).
2. Tell your archers to follow you to the hill on your left. Keep them there so that they have a good shot at the defenders.
3. Tell everyone to hold their fire for maximum effect. You don't wanna do that if there are a lot of archers on the walls, let your guys shoot back at them.
4. Tell your infantry/cavalry to advance a bit so that they absorb fire on their shields. Don't use the command a few times in a row as this will break your soldiers' shield wall.
5. Run further to the left of your starting position, towards the gate.
6. Yes. This is the dumb part. Just imagine you climbed over it with a grappling hook or something. :D Your men will NOT be able to enter, only you can.
7. This part is pretty much up to you, you just need to distract the defenders so that they face you instead of your archers. I climbed the wall and threw some axes at them, then kept them distracted with a meele weapon. ;)
8. Tell everyone to fire at will.
9. Retreat. Repeat.
10. Grab a javelin from a nearby wall and throw it into the sun.

If you need to retreat or are about to die, use 'everyone, fall back 10 paces' a few times so that you don't get any casualities.
