  • for local people, we will usually omit "個字" like a quarter past six, we will simply say 六點三 or we use the word "搭" instead of "個字" like 六點搭三 means the same thing as 六點三 besides, the word "搭" can be used in asking for the time. but usually it only focuses on the minutes, cause the hours is known for most of the time. for example, 宜家搭幾? "宜家" means "now", 幾 means "how many" to answer that, we would say 搭三 or 宜家搭三 meaning it's now a quarter

  • What if you wanted to say 1:01? or 11:59? I know I can say it's almost 1:05 or 12 o'clock but how do you say the time exactly as is?

  • 5="ng", not "m"

  • I like to kick it old school and say 一個骨 for quarter after (e.g. 六點一個骨) and 三個骨 for quarter of

  • love what you are doing

  • First.
