@kingofnoobs7170 the point of this convention was to inspire the youth in this country. It was held in a developing country whose people are not very keen on magic and can hardly get access to it. it's not a show to entertain people where you have to get well-known magicians like Cyril Takayama or David Blaine to perform.And it was held to present the "Best Manipulation" (which has to do with flourishing I suppose) award , not every award. dont be so harsh

@luuminhvuong since when did i even say that he is the person receiving the award?? and is this not a magic award ceremony?? how come did they invite so many unprofessional performers to perform , have the merlin awards standard drop till a point where they could not afford to get any good performers or is it that they fail to remember that this is a magic award ceremony not a flourishing ceremony?

all i see is a guy in green molesting cards and with no audience connection at all , no magic moment at all and adding to that , no self-confidence at all .I that that any magician should have at least 2 of the stated items of the above and even lacking of 1 item with is already bad enough, and the best part is he doesnt have any of those things, if he wants to continue being a performer , he better start bucking up or either that or he quit performing magic

Well this is absurdly pointless. First would be the lack of skill he has in the field of "flourishing", yet it is put across as a performance? Incorrect, and frankly, pathetic. Secondly, are these not magical awards? I fail to see how flicking cards around is a form of deception. Pardon me, but I happen to believe that it is just for the sake of playing around with one's dexterity, not for actually amounting to anything more than being a performer that comes free with a purchase of cereal.
