This is a video I did for my sound design class.

I downloaded a game called Amnesia, an adventure-horror game. I had never played this game, but I had played previous games by the small indie-developer Frictional Games. I recorded myself while playing a particular section of the game which I felt suited the project. After I recorded myself, I stripped the audio out and started working in Pro Tools. To make some of the ambient background music, I took the song Abeo by Chimaira and using a program called PaulStretch, I stretched it out 20 times, giving it a very eerie track. Then, I went to the freesoundproject website and found about 30 sounds I thought fitted into my video. I then arranged them in ways that I thought were effective. I used lots of reverb because of the type of environment in the video. I ended up using a total of 22 sounds in the project.

Enjoy!
