Joe: *comes into Demi's bedroom* what are you watching?

Demi: the news

Joe: *sits next to her* you okay?

Demi: yes

Joe: *looks at the Tv* whats going on?

Demi: cops found a little girl in a trash can beaten to death

Joe: *gets up* i should check my phone *walks out and looks at his phone* Nothing

Demi: *comes out* Maybe another unit got the case

Joe: yeah i'm sure.

Demi: you know i was watching that and remembered seeing you on the news once

Joe: really?

Demi: yeah you were talking about a case. Something about a guy thrown in a lake

Joe: Marvin Franklin, He was pushed

Demi: he lived right?

Joe: yes. he was getting mugged. he put up a fight and they pushed him over the bridge of the lake.

Demi: thats horrible

Joe: he's in a house for victims now. He hit his head hard during the fall. If there wasn't a eye witness we never would have found the criminal

Demi: oh my god does he have family?

Joe: he had a wife and kids but he's close to brain dead now. The wife packed up the kids and left

Demi: thats so sad

Joe: i'll tell him you said so next week

Joe: i go visit him twice a month. i did go more but he's getting so bad it's hard to bear.

Doctor: i'll get the Nurse *gets up*

Nick: the baby is at risk to things on my side of the family, My aunt died of a disease wouldn't you want to know that before your months are up to get a abortion?

Selena: i'm not getting a abortion

Nick: even if the baby is gonna die?

Selena: we give this baby a fighting chance Nicholas

Nick: *smiles* deal

Selena: why are you smiling like that? i'm mad at you

Nick: your motherly ways are already showering

Selena: pshh i almost got killed because of this baby. thats not just going to be washed away with a abortion

Nick: *kisses her hand*

Nurse: *comes in with a bin of needles*

Selena: i might cry

Nick: would you like me to go first?

Joe: My mother is great. my father, well i wouldn't know

Joe: i don't really know
