  • there should always be a minumum of 4 inches of mulch around trees and any other garden beds.

    i also hate seeing the volcanos around trees as it is bad for them

  • Well done here.

    I see so many landscapers volcano mulch, even so called professionals! It's sickening that so many are that stupid.

    Whenever I can, I correct them and let them know of the harm it causes. Also, I kick back these silly mounds away from tree trunks when I come across them.
