When I was little, I didn't know that you could actually buy the music that was played on the radio. And then I went to a friend's house, and her older brother had this 45. So when I got home I emptied my piggy bank and ran all the way to the nearest record store - this was my very first purchase. And the start of my life long experiment in retail therapy :)
(Stephen Stills wrote this, but the credit on the 45 says Steve (or Steven) Sills.

this was the original hit heard on the air waves in the early/mid 60's; I was appalled, @ a later date to find that this was a SS song; because, still's pop recording was not as good!

I'm looking for an original recording of this song and so far all I've been able to bring up is a re-recording of it. I think it's crap and I don't want it on my ipod. Can anybody help me find an original 1967 recording of this song? Thanks
