hey nice vid i just got my first bird last saturday for youth season i was using a 12 though the turkey landed in the tree right above me but still got a clean shot to the head. i though forsure thats were u were gunna shoot urs at. why didnt you?

Great video!! I had a similar experience with a gobbler right outside my blind. I was unable to get a shot due to the seat I was sitting on, the legs kept on sinking in the ground. When I pulled my bow back, i realized my arrow would not have cleared the bottom of the window. I had to try to stand up slightly...well try shooting a bow with your knees bent and not sitting. Live and learn a guess. Anyway...great video. Can't wait till this season opens...good luck.

Very nice. What kind of broadhead did you use? Cant believe that arrow stayed in ole tom at that range.

It was a Grim Reaper 100 mechanical broadhead used to kill that Tom. I spined him deflecting off the wing bone into the spine. Hit bone twice which is what stopped the pass thru. Persistence and patience put cutlets on the table.

@nickkrete Thanks everyone...this was such a rush. Everytime I watch this film it brings me right back in that blind with that bad boy 3 yards to my left! What a day!!
