This is the unaired pilot of the television show "Fearless." Based on the bestselling book series and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, it starred Rachael Leigh Cook, Ian Somerhalder and Eric Balfour. It was supposed to air on The WB in 2004 but due to production problems it was never picked up.

I am somewhat disappointed watching this pilot. Not because it wasn't a good pilot but because it let me down as a fan of the Fearless series. Besides for it straying from the solid foundation the book made for it, it was a pretty good pilot and could have probably been a pretty good show.

@SheriRenee15 No it didn't and no it doesn't. The pilot was filmed and The WB had planned to air the show after Gilmore Girls but it was put on hold until mid season. Instead of going with their original plan of starting it during the mid season The WB put One Tree Hill on instead and just put Fearless on the shelf. They then canceled it before they could film more episodes or even show the pilot.

GAH! Fear isn't a gene! It's the combined response of cognition and the endocrine's system effect on circulation, respiration, digestion, and muscle contraction! Furthermore, fear's physical manifestation is the result of the same factors that induce....y'know...other feelings (good ones) that make our our hearts pound, knees shake, and pupils dilate. Soooo....a physically fearless person would also be disabled sexually. I wonder if the writers thought of that.

@darkestrose2005 yeah Ian's a great actor :D he's great as Damon - it's the perfect role for him! and TVD has been pretty successful so The CW would be stupid to cancel it now! not to mention there would be heaps of angry fans :/

I love Ian but honestly considering all the WB past he's had with shows he's in being canceled I was surprised when he decided to do Vampire Diaries lol but soooo glad he did, he's an amazing actor. Wish WB/CW would give good shows more of a chance tho.
