To murder is a planned event. Premeditated. To kill is to take a human life, but you would not have in the ordinary course of your day. Self-defense.

Two men break into my home and threaten to harm me greatly. I kill one. That's self defense. But, his partner escapes and I track him down later and kill him, that's murder. I had the opportunity to contact the police and follow reasonable methods to capture the second outlaw.

whats the diff btwn killing and murdering? its the same- the english language is screwey like that. for example: In english we have one word for LOVE, where french and itatilian have about a dozen different words for the same thing but it implies degrees of love-use your imagination.
