In this video I am talking about the Xbox 360 Kinect. Now although this certainly seems set to be the toy for this Christmas and the concept is amazing, I do have one issue with it that you may be able to correct me on.

Obviously here in the UK the Kinect is not due out until November the 10th and today as I write this it is Sunday the 7th of November. So in the mean time I have obviously bee watching a lot of you guys posting videos on Youtube about it and reading other blogs reviewing the Kinect.

The one thing that worries me slightly about this, and I could be wrong, is that for people like me with spinal disabilities, the Kinect is not going to cater for us. Obviously people who are in a much worse off situation and need the use of a wheelchair are going to be even further excluded.

For those of you, who have already received your Kinect, how would you respond to this comment. Do you think I am correct or are the perhaps things in place for those of us with disabilities.

Kinect SUCKS the plugs on it short out and it stops working Xbox says it will take 2-3 weeks for them to get it and take it apart. Then if its there problem they will replace it. My problem is that I bought it for Christmas and now its not going to work. Xbox is a money sucking company and the tech support Sucks too

@taylor9124 I feel the same I don't know if you have ever heard of midieval (a ps1 game) I would like to see morons who ar screaming about the kinect's unmatchable greatness tell real gamer like us how you are going to play a game like medival using this (so called) great device.

I've played it, and I'm not all that impressed. There are way too many limitations. The games won't even detect you if you are sitting. You need at least 6-10 feet of space, which totally rules it out for me. The games that have been released are purely mini games and exercise games. As a hardcore gamer, this does appeal to me like the Wii And Move do, where I can play more hardcore games, not just jump up and down and dance. Not to mention the price point is too high.
