Most funding for schools comes from the local property taxes not the state. I'm not saying this is right or fair but rather the opposite. Areas of low property value gather less in property taxes, mutatis mutandis high value, more money. Obviously, more money needs to come from somewhere, and it needs to be distributed more equitably. Perhaps, if you no longer engaged in wars for profit, the national government could fund education; but a stupid population is easier to control.

Hi all. I'm in uni at the moment training to become a teacher. I just wanted to say that it is so great to see all you students reconising the problems and promoting the notion of change. I only hope that i can become an effective educator. Thanks for your views- keep it up.
