So let me get this straight. If Ryu defeats his inner demon, he remains regular Ryu and doesn't become Evil Ryu.
If Akuma defeats his inner demon, he becomes... Shin Akuma? Oni?
You have to be all sorts of bad if defeating your inner demon makes you even more evil and powerful.

@Snow3103 this wasn't even capcom's doing.

@jowrab Oro is an interesting character along with Q, Gill and the other characters from Street Fighter III, I can´t wait to see them again in the remake of Street Fighter III.
-
@jowrab I´ve heard that in Japanese mythology some gods tied huge ropes to their bodies to reduce their power and have control over it, perhaps Capcom gave Gouken and Akume the costumes with the huge ropes to symbolize that they were as strong as gods.

Damn , this nigga is cool

according to sf lore after killing bison he had to face his inner darkness to gain full control of the satsui no hadou

@WrightWayVideodude Oh, and for facing Akuma in Arcade Mode, you must not lose a battle until your fight against Master Bison. Then AKuma will apear, thrash him and fight you.
-
@WrightWayVideodude Yeah I know that. You see, this is Akuma's Second ending when he faces "himself" in arcade mode. I was just wondering why Akuma gets another ending for facing himself. Bison in the old games always faced "himself", so I wondered why he didn't get a new ending in HD Remix where he states something about an Impostor or clone or whatever^^
-
So, uh... Why isn't Bison commenting on fighting a clone of his or something? I mean, if you use Bison in Arcade Mode in HD Remix, wouldn't he be facing off against himself as well? Or did they change that?
-
He´s the brother of Gouken (the master of Ryu and Ken)
I guess this is because the only mirror match possible in Arcade is Akuma against Shin Akuma? Neat they made an ending for it rather than reusing bison one.
