This is the best tutorial ever on folding a figure 8 hoop! I actually had a connector snap in 1/2 while trying to fold the 2 circles together. The key, I think, is to push down on top of the top circle to take the stress off the connector as you fold the 2 circles together. Thanks so much, I'm not worried to try and fold my hoop anymore!

Could you make a video on how to make a figure 8 hoop without it coming a part when you try to fold it?

@Toxickiss54 If you are getting gaps when you fold down your hoop it may be the brand of connector you are using. You need one that is very tight fitting. I purchased some in a bulk bag from Lowe's before that just don't work for this style hoop.

Thanks! Will this work for a 35" diameter, 3/4", 100 PSI?

@jjainchill I know this is old, but I had to change my email acct, sorry. I haven't made one under 39" so I'm not sure, but I think it is possible. I use 3/4" 100 PSI

Hey there...did you have to have to file your connectors down at all, or just make the hoop like any other regular hoop but with 2 connectors instead of 1? Does bending it cause shiny/metallic/prism/glitter tape to buckle or do anything strange? Thanks for the video btw.

No filing, two instead of one, the tape does crinkle a tiny bit, but not badly. You are welcome
