  • I legitimately got goosebumps. I love when music does that!

    :)

  • this shit hit harrrddddddddd!!!!! toooo dopppeeeee!!!

  • Chapeau!!!

  • does anybody know where can I buy the CD??? It's awesome!!!

  • meravigliose voci...meraviglioso canto.

  • The performer is Delitiae Musica under the conduction of Marco Longhini

  • I agree that the score and the poem do really make it on their own. But I have also listened to several other versions and none really captivated me as much as this one. I think it's because in general I prefer the sound of high vocal parts performed by males. It could also sound good because I believe it was probably originally performed by a mostly male group with the higher parts being sung by castratos.

  • @jwglade

Probably you're right but, I'd love if you shared the arguments! Could you?

I find this rendition quite captivating (ok, the score and the poem on their own are already doing much of the work....) , but rationally I also have some doubts, having listened to it a few times more.

I'm curious, if we share the same or different ones.

    Cheers

    G.

  • @GiachesDeWert I believe it's Chanticleer but i'm not positive
