im not sure about the tread design but the tractor is a mid to late 30s rumley 6 made by allis chalmers, allis was the first tractor manufacturer on rubber, they also had a deal with goodyear about the same time for rubber tracks on crawlers but it never made it past the design stage, i have pictures of those if you are interested, very nice video!
It seems that the tread design shown here is pretty much what I saw on new JD tractors seen druing a recent visit to Wisconsin.... comments anyone... RL Atlanta, GA USA
my dad and his uncle and my pa say these old tires were better cause they would grip better and would climb anything

@rlewis1946 actually the bar angle has changed slightly since those days. I can't remember the old / new, but it has changed over the years
