beautiful job for your first time

Haha, I'm also saving up for a Canon Hv30 :D

the tracking is not spot on, and in the future ALWAYS make sure you film with manual exposure. Also, if you use Autofocus then you need to keyframe some blurring on that model to compensate. The model too needs some motion blur to sell the illusion. But make sure you don't add any more blur to the footage.

I use Blender 3D and After Effects they are both great programs

I'm trying to do this, and if you could help me it would mean a lot.
You know how the tripods feet are behind the buildings? How did you do that? I've managed to sort of do it through masking, but because my camera is moving the mask keeps moving. And i don;t want to have to correct it every frame, so is there an easier way to get the mask to stick to the buildings, motion track them maybe?
Thanks.

I'm going by memory because i haven't done this for a while...but... what u wanna do is motion track the footage, append the motion data to a null object, then parent your picture/video of the tripod to the null object. that way if u mask the tripod the mask will move with the footage because the mask is child to the footage and the footage is child to the null object. And of course the null moves with the footage.... if that makes sense? lol :D
