This is an acoustic cover of "Dance of the Manatee" that I whipped up. The song was written by a very talented band called Fair to Midland. It's also quite a difficult song to play and especially sing, if you want to stay relatively true to the original. Some of Darroh Sudderth's vocal parts are fun to attempt.

the versatility of your vocals is freakish. The 3 libras cover you actually sound like maynard. do you spend a lot of time getting down all the accents on these covers? there all very precise and i respect the shit out of that. i just wonder how you can sound like so many different people, that is a talent i haven't ever seen. whatever you do don't sell out to the american idol BS. what recording software do you use and how the hell do you make the vocals sound so nice? keep writing !

@TheHankarens I use Pro Tools to record and sometimes Adobe Audition. I don't do much to my vocals but add some compression and reverb. As for my sounding like these vocalists, I don't practice or put that much into it. I guess I just (and I innocently enough thought this was a common skill) remember the way they sing and phrase their words. Thanks for the support man. Greatly appreciated.

I just suggest you to always keep everything simple.

Don't put to much effects on everything. Less noise gate.Less compression.

@Phyllotaxismusic as a singer myself I had a good life about how it comes naturally and as a ftm man since 07. I feel no one could compare to sudderth but I look forward to listening to your own music. I love the throat singing something diff from the rest I guess sudderth learnt from the eskimos.
