Multimedia Audio Project

This video is a project from a Multimedia Audio course I took in college. I was given the video clip with no audio and had to add music and sound effects. I used a wide array of techniques. For example, the laser blast effects were achieved by pitch-bending and modifying equalization of white noise and a 1kHz tone. I also did some foley work by banging on an air conditioning duct to provide the sound effect for running on the hull of a ship. I had access to a stock audio library, as well. With it, I was able to use things like "a blender being shut off" to represent things like engines winding down.
