@throwbackmike Thundersticks is actually a guy called Barry Graham Purkis. Mel Gaynor did play with 'em but that isn't him. The Roadie/Drummer is thundersticks. Sorry !

The roadie with the tash IS thundersticks (real name Barry Graham Purkis). Not Mel Gaynor but he apparently did play with them.

the drummer is Mel Gaynor who went on to play with Simple Minds. Guess having a black guy in a metal band back then was a risky move, so they disguised him. Pretty pathetic actually!
