The Jerusalem Light Rail or Jerusalem Tramway project consists of one, and at a later stage, multiple light rail and BRT lines to provide rapid transit in Jerusalem.
Thanks! The political situation is bad for us as always, but to visit for a short time is definitely safe I think. Millions of christian tourists even visit areas Israelis are banned from, like Bethlehem, and they get back ok. The main danger is probably traffic accidents.
That's good to know, watching Israel on the news looks a bit scary. Am glad you explain it to me. Had an acquaintance who went to Israel, but sadly died on a bus the exploded back in the 1990's, much change for the better has occured since. So it's okay to travel just have to know where the hot spots are and avoid it. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we pray for Israel. Shalom be yours today, thanks for the reply.
Between the Arabs and Jews inside Israel, it's tense but almost always non-violent. The majority are very peaceful. The terrorists (fedayeen) were usually from outside the borders. Nowadays, after we install all the fences around the borders and checkpoints, they can hardly ever get into Israel (only fire rockets over). It's safe and quiet for now. I expect the calm before the storm
It's not bomb proof in any way, but generally bombs are very rare in Israel nowadays, so people don't worry. Also this tram is popular with both Jewish and Muslim passengers
