  • Isn't it a wonderful piece of choreography? Ted felt that it was his finest composition. The Petronella twirl here came 20 years before others started incorporating that into modern compositions, and that second twirl for the active couple is magical, an extra half turn and there you are, swinging with your partner. I always include that dance in a Ted Sannella session.

  • I danced this as part of a "Contra Tribute to Ted Sannella" at this year's Flurry Festival in Saratoga Springs, NY this past weekend.

  • Love Tony's precise calling and perfect diction! But how can I ignore Bill Tomczak and Peter Barnes, both precise and crazy? Or Ted, who's gone but still making us dance.
