Gumbel is a bad boy...stop hatin'...does every black man have to look and sound like he came from a rap video?

Jack Johnson broke the color barrier not Jackie Robinson. Jack Johnson won the heavyweight title over 30 years before Robinson did anything.

Because he's a brutal LIAR & does not practice what he preach. He once said that "black people are beautiful". So what did he do? He got down on his knees & begged a white woman to marry him. What a BIGOT that guy is. He PRETENDS he likes black woman just like most black guys do. They pretend & say whoah that black girl is gorgeous. They are not giving black woman a chance. That's why they end up marrying a non-black. Not too many people have notice this trend to this day. Pass it on.

I don't know why so many people dislike Bryant Gumbel, by saying he is a black/white guy. This was a very well done commentary. He is very serious about his work, and that's how he should be. I hope to one day have a great career like Mr. Gumbel has in the TV news area, after I graduate from college.

Yes he did. He opened the doors for many Black baseball players today. Like Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Ken Griffey, Jr., and Frank Thomas.
