Breathtaking ultra high resolution photos of mankind's historic first steps on the Moon... on the lunar Sea of Tranquility. Monday July 20th is the 40th anniversary of this first moonwalk. Music is Chopin's Trois Nouvelles Etudes, 2nd in A flat major.

  • @rathat48 Actually there was no "metal mesh" sewn in the flag. They were ordinary flags purchased from Sears and there were metal rods on the flag pole to keep the flag in a "waving" position. On A11, they had trouble getting the rod fully extended and the flag hung in a more wrinkled manner.

  • @joblezidiot It flag looks like its waving because NASA sewed a metal mesh into the fabric so they could make it look like it was waving. When they unrolled the flag it was already crinkly and bumpy so all they had to do was adjust it to make it look good, the point was to make it look impressive in pictures.
