Warrior Nun Areala

Here is the awesome teaser/opening sequence for the Warrior Nun Areala Original Anime Video.

It was based on the comic book series created by Ben Dunn, and published by Antarctic Press. Several characters are squeezed into and action-packed minute and a half, including:

* Warrior Nun Areala
* Shotgun Mary
* Lilith
* Magic Priest
* Father Gomez

The teaser is true to the source material, which is especially remarkable since it was made in a time when comic-to-film adaptations tended to take liberties.

The character designs were by Ben Dunn, and the project was financed by Antarctic Press.

Will Meuginot (co-creator of the comic book series DNAgents, and producer/director of many animated TV shows, including The-X-Men) produced it.

The animation was by Sunrise, the Japanese studio that made the anime hit Dirty Pair.

This is the only Warrior Nun Areala sequence that has been completed to date, but one never knows, maybe someday we'll see the rest of it…
