Just got my Arduino microcontroller kit a few days ago, along with an LCD module and some other components. Here's one of the first projects I put together with it, being a total electronics noob.
It reads the resistance of a flex sensor, converts the value to a pitch between 0 and 1000Hz, outputs a tone of that pitch to a piezo speaker, and prints the value to the LCD, all at a timing resolution of 1/10th of a second.
