I had tickets to the Dio concert in London a couple of days ago, but it was cancelled due to illness although I was disappointed, Id prefer he makes a quick recovery & Ill get along to the next one. I saw Dio in the 80s, probably the Holy Diver tour he might be small, but hes got a huge voice.

A bit of Sabbath with Dio then.

Great riff as with a lot of classics, its not really a tricky one.

The solo is though. Iommi always sounds like hes on a complete wig-out & barely in control, without actually putting a finger wrong. I, on the other hand, practised the solo many, many times & still managed to get it wrong & the bit that looks out-of-control in the middle of the solo, is. Hey ho.

I also got a bit carried away with the dive that precedes the outro & went on for slightly too long. But I love a bit of distorted whammy diving. If only Id used a Big Muff for the distortion, then the tags for the YouTube search engine could have had fun with the combination of diving & muff. I might have got a few more hits though. The rest of the outro is a combination of bits from the tab & basic fills where I couldnt be bothered to learn it. The track fades out, so I add a bit of the riff at the end just so I can use the whammy dive again. Little things please little minds & all that.

Excellent cover! I really love how you groove through the solo, even if you say there are mistakes! Sounds excellent to me. You have a very strong guitar tone, nice and chunky, just like Iommi's! Cheers!
