I am a dual BKA, these would be great on uneven ground, my legs move around a lot, because of the limited motion of the ankles.

i dont blaim you my m8 surgery is the final option, sounds like you are doing much better now hope you can make a full recovery, i would only say to have surgery if you couldnt walk with out crutchs or lead a normal life, only then would it be worth thinking about

I've just gone through physical therapy and am performing yoga exercises concentrated on my ankle... its holding up. I'll probably hold off surgery for a couple of years, since the therapy seems to be working to maintain strength during hikes and mtn. biking trips. But, thanks for the information.

Do you guys have any prosthetic feet... as in starting at my ankle. My ankle is basically screwed from an injury (I can't walk much on it and the bones are visibly deforming every month). I'm a mountain biker and was thinking about replacing my deformed feet and ankle with a prosthetic one.

If you send me your e-mail address I can send you information for the UK contact as well pics of a patient riding a motorcycle with the foot. The pics will be posted on the Heritage Medical blog in moments.

For instance, I jumped off a third story balcony into a swimming pool and broke my last one. I jump 50ft jumps on a dirtbike. I broke the carbon fiber part of another foot when I crashed while riding a skatepark shooting for a magazine article.
I rode bmx professionally, as in the x-games.
I just tend to break things to easily but I understand that I push the limits a bit.
You think it would hold up?

This foot is less than two years old so we are still learning what it can handle. We do have a patient in the service who jumps out of planes that loves the Perfect Stride. There is a sixty day trial period, so the foot can be returned for any reason. The foot also has a 36 month warranty. What are you currently wearing?

I'd try that out... but I'd be pretty rough on it, would it hold up to major abuse?

What kind of abuse do you have in mind?
