Dojo bs, unless your drunken 81 year old granpa is attacking you. Look up this video (Stabbing, or How Knife-Fighting and Defense Pan Out) to see what the attack will look like from an ex-con. If your style can't deal with the attack in the video, I hope you are right with your God before you face a real attack from a real bad guy.

Micahel, you're right that the attack depicted in this video is unrealistic. However, it is equally incorrect to assert that a knife attack by a knowledgeable person "will flick, jab and slice." Spend some time trolling the web and you'll find videos out there of how people really attack with knives. It ain't anything like you really think.

why would you swing a knife like you would a stick?
knife attacks especially done by people who know how to handle a knife will flick, flail, jab and slice. when they do thrust you're allready cut up so bad you won't be able to stop it. you want to commit suicide? practice this shait.
