@slithertoothy Cams can be gear driven, not necessarily do they have to be belt driven. That way the cams run in opposite directions, and be connected to a common shaft which is then driven by a chain or belt.

i hear they are going to try and use this on the chrysler Hemi? im not sure how seeing how that motor is a OHV but if they do that should be a beast

Its pretty much tried and tested technology, most engineering is very durable these days, even Korean offerings...Fiat are master in this field...

I would like to see how this technology holds up under real world tests as well as being exposed to extreme temps. While I applaud the efforts I have concerns as to what would happen should one of the controls fail. We already have car technology that is difficult and expansive to repair.
