  • @remmajekim666 if it is stationary

  • @demariojason its good if it takes that little damage hitting something that wont move, so when it hits something that does move there is even less damage

  • @davidlizaola No, the airbags are two stage. When there is no seatbelt in use, the force with which the airbag deploys is reduced to avoid the likelyhood of the airbag injuring the driver.

  • but you have to remember this is hitting something inmovable,....

  • @CapTheBottle studies have shown that when someone is not wearing a seatbelt during a crash and the airbag deploys, it can cause severe damage because of the force in which the airbag comes out. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has wrote to car manufactures about this and the car industries are no longer allowed to manufacture airbags that deploy when the seatbelt is not in use (supposedly).

  • @davidlizaola Why is that?

  • if the dummy was not wearing the seatbelt the airbag shouldn't had deployed...

  • Did good! Dummy movement was well controlled even w/o belts, driver looks like he hit the roof. Not bad, for a basterdized Mercedes lol

  • There's a lot of damage for 25 mph LOL

  • Lol all that damage for 25mph.....its kinda slow and there's a lot of damage
