One morning it came after many years. All the good people of Helsinki rushed to watch the snow, touch the snow. Once there was a time when it rained snow every winter but that was long ago. City was taking it easy as Helsinki always does. Everyman were sure; soon the ground below our feet is black and wet again...

The last two years there has been heavy snowfalls, but not early in winter. So much snow that at Christmas people could not get to the graves of relatives to lay candles there,

Cityscapes are not beautiful on winter except right after the snowfall.. as they get dirty and grey due to traffic...

Well, it don´t rain snow every winter in Helsinki anymore. Climate change, I guess. I miss the snow here on the south coast of Finland. Maybe I come to see you there in Chile because i just love your wines, especially Mont Gras.

You made the right decision. Let´s hope that we have snow also in next winter. Otherwise Helsinki rocks; good bars, clubs, concerts. Not a bad choice for you at all!
