Seurasaari is an island located in Helsinki, Finland. Seurasaari consists of old, mainly wooden buildings transplanted from elsewhere in Finland and placed in the dense forest landscape of the island. Every summer, many Helsinkians come to Seurasaari to enjoy the rural, peaceful outdoor atmosphere. Despite the visitors, the island has a variety of wildlife, especially birds, but also red squirrels and hares.
If you stand still too long, the squirrels climb up your clothes and onto your shoulders and with a little patience, the pretty Great Tit will land on your finger to get food from you.
So you will find with wildlife in Seurasaari is not so wild. ;-)
