@comcreature A lot of the "twangyness" in this song is caused by the strings being so loose in this tuning. They are tuned a step and a half down from standard which also has a hand in the buzz.

Maybe try an external mic closer to the sound box and not play so hard. Too much twangyness (is that a word?). The playing was great all but the constant string buzzing. Good job!
