  • who cares. the most underrated band in Australia. " Short Note" is a classic song.

  • I heard from a reliable source that Matt was a bit up himself and was really into the "rockstar" thing

  • Bipola is'nt a kerb...paint ur way to heaven in verse thankyou matt moffitt&friends

  • Articulate and intelligent comments from Messers Moffitt and Prior, as I would expect. Maybe they were futuristic. I mean that in that they didn't play the media game back then and that harmed their success. Back then, 25 years ago, you had to have media exposure and had to 'play the game'. Nowadays, we have the internet, which, we all know, is a form of media. But, imagine what Matt Finish would have done with the internet if they were in their 80's incarnation now?

  • such serious young insects

  • Thanks, I went to their myspace site, got a nice comment back from them, their new singer/guitarist is David Adams apparently, what I've heard sounds really good.

  • he died from suspected 'stroke' in his sleep, in Sydney 2003 - age 46.

    1956-2003

  • Do you know how he died? What age? That's really sad, he's an icon of that era.

  • Yes, you are right- in 2003.

  • Are you sure he's dead?

  • Never knew until recently Matt passed away. Very sorry to hear.

  • Most underrated band of the 80s for reasons outlined in this interview. They didn't play the media game, but built up a following through their gigs. Great band, great music ... such a shame Matt Moffatt died a couple of years ago.

  • was'nt a big fan at all of them ....but did like Matt Moffitt's single - Miss This Tonight...a great tune.

yet, another music artist that went to heaven way to early !

  • werd...!

  • that's the real matt
