  • He still looked pretty damn good considering he was nearing 83 at the time.

  • He said in an interview that he was afraid of a lingering death. Died of a massive stroke three weeks later. He seems so vibrant. Fabulous posture. It's hard to believe he only had another 3 weeks. He should have lived forever like Kate Hepburn and George Burns did

  • @jakster2 He was 83?!

  • @VanGoghRothko That may be the most idiotic statement I've ever heard.

  • @VanGoghRothko That's a matter of opinion.

  • Like Gary Cooper who was also was one of the worst actors ever, neither of these can compare to Brando. Hitchcock never directed anything really substantial, everything was mediocre, nothing he did ever can can compare to Ford's The Searchers.

  • @92af Possibly the dumbest statement ever.

  • @92af Yes, the legendary 92af has dazzled us onscreen for decades and therefore reserves the right to judge the likes of Cary Grant.

  • he looked great....and...a great dad

  • @92af "He could not act at all." That's why "hack" directors like Alfred Hitchcock, Howard Hawks, George Stevens, and George Cukor always wanted to use him in their films. I guess they could not direct at all.

  • Cary was a class act. Intelligent, funny, yet humble. Good grief, for those of you on the political correctness wagon, race stereotyping was very common back in the bygone years when Cary was at his most popular. It wasn't right but that was life then. Does that make him a racist? Doubtful.

  • i miss Cary Grant
