The Escarpment Retreat on beautiful Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland was host for internationally acclaimed artist and muralist Justin Hayes. Although based in New York, Justin had always wanted to visit Australia and was keen to have the opportunity to stay at The Escarpment Retreat on Tamborine Mountain. His works include creating designs on many different surfaces however the challenge at the Escarpment was to turn 2 old tree stumps into a new piece of art, based on the indigineous aboriginal culture. The end result is a stunning piece of art work that tells the story of a day at The Escarpment and include the mountain, our waterfall, the wild life and the flora that all exist here in the property
You are welcome to view this wonderful piece of art work at The Escarpment, 123 Alpine Terrace, Mount Tamborine, Queensland, 07 5545 3300 or escape@escarpment.com.au
