The Elder was released during KISS's teeny bopper/Justin Bieber/Bay City Rollers/NYNC etc period.
No wonder they could not sell this record, as even too musically mature for most of their fans of the ALIVE 1 period back then. The silly crying end to this video did not help matters.
Unfortunately, the Elder has crapped upon by Carrottop and other celebrities who probably have never listened to this masterpiece that gets better and better with each musical maturity level

@psychomichael When did people start saying "I know, right?" - ? It's like saying you know, and then asking the person who asked the question to confirm the answer. It's like an endlessly looping rhetorical question. It sounds kind of... well... I'm just saying.

@wordifier LOL...it's crazy what you can find on the subject with a simple Google search. I remember hearing it in the 80's. Nobody seems to know it's origins, but the stories are hilarious.
