Luisel Ramos' 18 year old sister (Luisel Ramos is the woman in the picture before... she passed away on the runway from her anorexia at age 22..) her little sister Eliana was found dead 6 months later from complications from anorexia. She was found by her grandmother and was only 18.

I cried.... I'm not anorexic and defintly don't want to become but I find that 1 million ppl can tell u ur thin and beautiful but it only takes 1 person to call u fat and that's all u can think about as that happened to me but I know whatever I do I will NOT turn to anorexia, instead I turn to God for help because I am beautiful and I have a family that loves me

There can be many mental/emotional conditions/issues that contribute to this. Resolving them is key. Easier said than done. I'm a recovered anorexic, 42 years old, single mom for a 2ND time. Find help,support, courage, it's very hard. My goal is to be 95 years old, not 95 pounds. You CAN do it. I'm not perfect, that would be boring. FYI...professional help takes a long time. I gave up on it and soul searched myself. Excuses not an option for me. I want to be a mom for a long time to come.

@XDeCoDeX13 Hunnie, I don't see anyone. I've not even been to the Doctors :-( It's a terrible thing when one knows one is sick, but wonders at what point one will be sick enough to be considered sick. My hubby say I am too thin, but I just ignore and move on. My kids have no clue. I have a McD's or KFC with them once a week. My hubby is not motivation...neither is he the cause...he lies somewhere inbetween :/ The trigger was seeing a pic of myself at 9st 2lb! Weighed that before i gave birth!!!

@abrukhaukasu I can't even imagine..I dont know much about the disease, but I hope you use your children and husband as motivation. I Suggest you go to a fmily counselor or somewhere where feeling and thoughts can be put on the table. Please stay strong~

Its not just getting younger. I was anorexic age 1218. I mainted a low but healthy weight for 16 years after recovery...am now 34 and in relapse...Do we ever really recover? Really? I hope so...I have children that need their mum and a disabled husband :( There's no help for adults. Its all about how 'we should know better'. I know it alright...i think we all do...we just gotta find our voice and tell the truth and fight the fear of feeling guilty for telling the truth.

well im at the verge of an eating disorder i used to think my friends were eating too much soo i stopped all together. then that one day i passed out on the floor. thank god im doing better but i still dont eat
