another H.P. Lovecraft and Nox Arcana inspired video this time we're honoring the mighty Cthulhu elder god of insanity why is he the elder god of insanity?, it is said that those who look upon him loose their mind at the terifying sight that is Cthulhu.

Yeah.

In Lovecraft´s times science had found out that we descended from mammals, that we ARE mammals, that our sun is nothing special, just one of millions and billions, etc.

It was a shock to mankind who considered themselves as the "crown of creation", but we´re not.

We´re really nothing special, we´re weak, we´re helpless against forces that could easily kill us (like earthquakes, supernovas, black holes, etc.) and we don´t really understand what´s going on yet.

Nyarlothotep is sort of like a kid who burns ants with a magnifying glass, no one stops him because they don't care about the ants and yet it's undeniably creepy to spend your time picking the legs off a spider or the wings off a fly.
