This is some initial testing of my 8' Lazy Bee without the wing. Checking for ground handling, ignition interference, etc and looking good at this point. The engine is a Troybilt 29 cc four stroke engine (borrowed) from a new machine.
The starter is made from left over weed wacker parts.

  • I had the engine and decided on the plane size to match the engine.

    I used the pdf plans found on the internet and scaled them up. I also widened the fuselage a bit.

    Two flights - two crashes. Rebuilt and ready to go again. Hope to try again this weekend. Hope to be posting more videos.

  • how did you decide on the engine size i am looking to make a 10ft lazy bee and how did you get the planes from a pdf or had oringinal and blew them up in a print shop
