I remember at the time, Marco was slammed for being a dangerous rider after that crash, but then it turned out Bautista's bike had seized and slowed up mid-corner. The fact the he hugged Alvaro shows just what kind of guy he was. RIP Marco :(

this was the race where Simoncelli showed that he could win a championship! After this race he won my heart...like Valentino did in 2004.
