You Can Close Your Eyes (James Taylor Cover)

First of all, I was moved to do this song for, and because I was thinking of, someone very special to me, and this song came to mind because it reminded me of this special soul who is very much a kindred spirit, soul mate and muse to me in so many ways... and I think 'you' know who you are!!! I don't usually do covers, but I used to play this song at the tender ages of 15, 16, 17, etc... and since I was in a nostalgically lethargic and impulsive mood, I just sat down and did it. It is my own rough version that I worked out and does not compare to the James Taylor version, but, it is what it is, I suppose... and was done to scratch a rather wistful nostalgic itch and for various and sundry personal reasons rolling around in my tired head.
