Alma Redemptoris Mater es un cántico católico mariano, que es usualmente cantado al final del oficio de la hora canónica de Completas, solo desde el Primer domingo de Adviento hasta la fiesta de la Presentación de Jesús en el Templo (2 de febrero).

Texto en Latín
Alma Redemptoris Mater, quae pervia caeli
Porta manes, et stella maris, succurre cadenti,
Surgere qui curat, populo: tu quae genuisti,
Natura mirante, tuum sanctum Genitorem
Virgo prius ac posterius, Gabrielis ab ore
Sumens illud Ave, peccatorum miserere.

The Dominican brothers at Blackfriars Oxford sing the 'Alma Redemptoris Mater', an antiphon to the Virgin Mary traditionally sung during Advent.

This is the solemn Dominican chant tone of the antiphon.
