It had to do with her religiousness and the spiritual significance some attribute to Columbine, plus the fact that her car was made into a makeshift memorial in the parking lot. From what I understand, she was fairly popular, though some others were as well (Lauren Townsend, John Tomlin, for example, if I'm not mistaken). Both Scott and Cassie Bernall were singled out by the media for their well-known religious beliefs.

Out of all the victims, Rachel Scott seems to get the most praise and attention. Her funeral was even the most watched. Was she really popular or is it just a coincidence? It kind of sucks for the other victims that they're kind of in the backdrop sometimes.

Actually, he was hit in the back and died in a science classroom, bleeding to death. A sign on the window of the classroom said "1 bleeding to death" to try to get help there, and a student who knew first aid was trying to keep him alive. Yes, he was a true hero, and so was the student who tried to save him. The lack of response plan by the authorities is the reason Dave never made it to the hospital--he probably would have lived had he had professional help.

@HBKanedge818That seems really odd to me, like... I'm not sure why Eric would use Dylan's gun. I'm not calling you or anyone else a liar, not at all, but still seems odd. :) Maybe they swapped and changed guns all though the massacre, who knows?

They found multiple gunshot wounds in Sanders' back (The Tec 9 shoots rapid multiple shots). & The witness who with Sanders while he was shot said Eric was the one who shot him.

You're right, however i live in Holland and i doubt im ever going to the US within a few years, mabey ill visit when im a little older.

You have connections with the school, family etc?

@ CaptainPooface - as someone who's been to the Anne Frank house in the Netherlands and someone who has a close connection to littleton colo (school, family, ect. )- why would there be guilt over even thinking of a visit? It's respectful, acknowledging things went down here, however morbid, you're recognizing there is something to feel sad about, something to be remembered, to be seen. If people tried to pass off the place as something in the untouchable category, how would the victims feel?

I saw Zero Hour & now know that Dave Sanders died before reaching the hospital. Aaron Hancey was the student who did CPR on him. If Dave hadn't been at the top of the stairs where Eric shot him with Dylan's Tec 9, He would have shot Principal Frank DeAngelis. The police deffended themselves by saying the bodies could have been boobie trapped with explosive & did a room by room search of every classroom & reached the library 3 hours after Eric & Dylan killed themselves.
