No offense but the soprano at the very beginning were so flat on that very high A note. Sounds like a Ab being played with an A key.

This choir chose good songs, this and Elijah Rock., which my high school honor choir both sang are amazing songs... You all sound great on this, even better on Elija Rock, good job Choir, Go Soprano 1s!

It is true for this song that the altos should have a sense of prescense, and most choirs that perform this don't seem to let the altos have their moment. But for this choir, the sopranos seem to have not as powerful or pronounced entry, especially near the beginning.

Altos simply make this whole piece <3. My Choir teacher would murder us if we moved that much though. o_o

lol, (I'm not being mean but...) It makes me laugh on how much you move. Our teacher wouldn't like us too much if we did that much movement in such a song. But it's still a great song. Good job everybody!

Way to much Verbrato my choir teacher would have killed us if we would had don that at the begining but other then after that the verbrato goes away and its good ^_^

I sang this during the Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival in 2008. It was sooo intense!!! we had about 200 people singing it. I love this song! This is a Pretty good version too!

My choir, the advanced one, is gonna sing this. We're singing this song at christmas.

excellent job!
Its a dark song. And its classical. Bringing it to the front will only make it brighter. And Thats not the right tone or attitude of the song. It needs to have that dark sound. The song is about lamenting, crying, wheeping. Not, "seasons of love".
So it has to be in the back of the throat.
